Job Summary
To support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10 mathematics competitions, the part-time Remote AMC 8 Math Tutor will deliver online one-on-one lessons, focusing on problem-solving strategies and mathematical reasoning.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver online one-on-one math lessons centered on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
- Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields preferred
- Experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience is highly preferred
- Strong math foundation with familiarity in competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
