Remote AMC Math Tutor
Job Summary
To support students preparing for AMC 8 and AMC 10 mathematics competitions, the part-time Remote AMC Math Tutor will deliver one-on-one online lessons, focusing on problem-solving techniques and competition strategies while working 15-20 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver online one-on-one math lessons centered on AMC 8 and AMC 10 competition preparation
- Guide students through competition-style problems and explain key concepts and strategies
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to enhance student understanding and performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Economics, Finance, or related fields
- Experience in math competitions or relevant teaching/tutoring experience is highly preferred
- Strong math foundation with familiarity in competitions such as AMC, AIME, or MathCounts
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is preferred
