Remote Analytics Principal Actuarial Consultant
Job Summary
A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Analytics Principal Actuarial Consultant.
Must be able to:
- Play a key role in creation of analytical solutions and business models
- Support the Sales teams by designing tools and process to support prospective client engagements
- Collaborate with the Finance team to define and develop revenue projection and pricing models
Qualifications Include:
- 8+ years of relevant actuarial experience in the healthcare industry
- Strong background and understanding of healthcare payment practices and fee-schedules
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of healthcare financial and operational data and reporting as well as healthcare technology
- Experience designing two-sided risk-based payment models with providers and knowledge of how providers are successful
- Deep understanding of alternative care delivery models and healthcare reform
- Experience with pricing and reserving
