Job Summary

As a hands-on creative professional, the freelance Remote Assistant Director will develop and produce social-first content for two major brands, managing the entire creative process from concept to execution while collaborating with a diverse team.

Key responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and generate original, quick-hit social media content and formats
• Oversee the end-to-end creation process, including scripting, storyboarding, and production logistics
• Independently shoot and edit content using compact camera setups, ensuring platform-native quality and engagement

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in creating social video, branded content, or digital comedy
• Strong portfolio showcasing personal contributions to shooting, directing, and editing short-form content
• Fluency in short-form storytelling and social media trends
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience self-producing shoots, including logistics like casting and location management
