Job Summary
A staffing agency is filling a position for a Remote Big Data Analytics Developer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Working with multiple cloud systems like AWS and GCP and its services
- Designing and implementing highly scalable data-intensive processing systems
- Producing high quality code with an emphasis on software craftsmanship.
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or similar
- 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
- 5+ years of experience with Python,Scala and/or Java
- 5+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL datastores
- 2+ years of experience with Spark, Flink and/or distributed computing.
- Experience designing database schemas for complex and evolving data sets
