Job Summary
Building and customizing high-performing eCommerce websites, the full-time Remote BigCommerce Developer will optimize and maintain sites on the BigCommerce platform, utilizing skills in Stencil, Storefront APIs, and responsive front-end development.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and customize eCommerce websites on the BigCommerce platform, including creating custom themes and widgets
- Implement interactive features using BigCommerce's Storefront GraphQL API and optimize websites for performance and SEO
- Collaborate with team members to align on project goals and manage multiple projects effectively
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in BigCommerce website development
- Strong knowledge of the BigCommerce platform and expertise in theme development using the Stencil framework
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and experience with Storefront APIs
- Experience creating custom widgets and reusable front-end components within BigCommerce
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in the Pacific Time zone
