Remote Biller Collector

Job Summary

Collecting receivables and monitoring past due accounts, the full-time Remote Biller Collector will research and resolve insurance claim discrepancies while preparing billing statements and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient account files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring proper billing to insurance companies and patients
• Investigate delinquency cases and follow up with third-party payers or patients to facilitate timely payments
• Prepare and maintain billing activity reports and documentation of past due accounts

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, with a preference for additional education
• 2+ years of hospital medical billing experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, State Programs, and commercial billing
• Proficiency in computer literacy
