Job Summary

A non-profit research institute is filling a position for a Remote Biomedical Research Data Architect.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Working with colleagues to develop tools and methods to enhance data interoperability
• Collaborating with software engineers and researchers to design data systems to advance scientific discovery
• Managing a data contribution forecasting and tracking system

Qualifications Include:

• BS in Library Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics or related discipline with 6 years of experience or
• MS with 3 years of experience
• Experience with cloud databases including AWS and Azure
• Experience working on ”Big Data platforms”, enabling non-technical users to gain insight into research data
• Understanding of Data Management and Data Governance approaches and tooling
• Biological knowledge graphs
