Remote Biostatistician
Job Summary
To support clinical development programs, the part-time Remote Biostatistician III will independently develop, program, and execute statistical analyses and simulations, utilizing SAS and R, while working remotely on a contract basis with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
- Independently develop and execute statistical analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations and power calculations
- Implement multiple imputation techniques and multiplicity adjustment methods for clinical trial data analysis
- Collaborate with clinical development and statistical teams to ensure timely completion of projects
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field; PhD preferred
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS programming for statistical analyses
- Experience with statistical simulations, including Monte Carlo methods and Type I error control
- Familiarity with clinical trial datasets, specifically CDISC SDTM and ADaM
- Understanding of advanced statistical methodologies and validation of analyses
