Job Summary
To support the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Business Process Consultant will act as a liaison between VA stakeholders and ServiceNow delivery teams, managing product backlogs and translating complex process requirements into actionable solutions while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with VA stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements across various ITSM and platform operations
- Lead process discovery sessions and manage the product backlog in collaboration with Scrum teams
- Translate business processes into functional specifications and validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent, or 13+ years of relevant experience
- 5 years of experience as a Business Process Consultant or Business Analyst in enterprise IT platforms
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow implementations across ITSM, CSM, and/or ITOM modules
- Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog management and sprint execution
- Proficiency in writing clear user stories and functional specifications
