Remote Clinical Pharmacist
Job Summary
To support a Clinical Engagement Services team, the part-time contract Remote Clinical Pharmacist will provide telephonic clinical consultations, conduct comprehensive medication reviews, and support medication adherence for members, working remotely with a schedule of rotating shifts between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM CST.
Key responsibilities
- Engage members telephonically and schedule pharmacist consultation appointments
- Conduct comprehensive Medication Therapy Reviews and provide medication adherence consultations
- Review prescription claims data to identify opportunities for clinical intervention and educate members on their medications
Required qualifications
- Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of residence
- Strong knowledge of disease-state management guidelines and MTM principles
- Approximately 1+ year of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
