Job Summary
To support a growing Clinical Engagement Services team, the part-time contract Remote Clinical Pharmacist will conduct telephonic consultations, comprehensive medication reviews, and provide medication education while working remotely during rotating shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST.
Key responsibilities
- Engage members telephonically and schedule consultation appointments for clinical programs
- Conduct comprehensive and targeted Medication Therapy Reviews and provide adherence consultations
- Review prescription claims data to identify clinical intervention opportunities and educate members on medications
Required qualifications
- Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of residence
- Strong knowledge of disease-state management guidelines and MTM principles
- Approximately 1+ year of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates may be considered
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team environment
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
