Remote Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A commerce platform has an open position for a Remote Cloud Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Contributing to exciting new open source technologies
• Scaling a large ecommerce deployment infrastructure using distributed systems
• Solving complex problems, such as scalability, cross-region coordination, cloud orchestration

Qualifications for this position include:

• Firm understanding and experience with Kubernetes
• Firm understanding of the Linux operating system
• Understanding of hardware component concepts
• Understanding of basic networking principles
• Understanding of network and infrastructure services concepts
• Strong Bash/Shell, Perl, Python, or related programming language development
