Remote Cloud Senior System Engineer
Job Summary
A human resources and hiring services company is filling a position for a Remote Cloud Senior System Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing incident management duties to investigate and follow up on incidents and deliver structural fixes
- Providing input into long-range platform requirements and operational guidelines
- Designing, deploying, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Are an expert on cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker
- At least 7 years of experience in system engineering, DevOps, SRE, or similar
- Have strong knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code technologies
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have a deep understanding of deployment and monitoring strategies for reliable, highly scalable, and robust cloud infrastructure
- Have experience working with complex CI/CD pipelines for production releases in a microservices-based architecture
