To support revenue cycle goals, the full-time Remote Coding Compliance Specialist will manage claim edits, denials, and rejections while ensuring accurate coding using various coding references and collaborating with departments to resolve compliance issues.
Key responsibilities
- Work on claim edits, denials, and rejections to support timely and accurate billing
- Collaborate with other departments to address coding and compliance issues affecting reimbursement
- Utilize ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding systems to ensure accurate coding practices
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in coding compliance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, or CCVTC
