Remote Collections Representative

Job Summary

To support a thriving team, the full-time Remote Collections Representative will manage calls to secure payments on past due student loan accounts while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Call consumers to collect payments on overdue student loan accounts
• Ensure all work complies with company policies and local, state, and federal collections laws
• Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service during interactions

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of private student loan third-party experience preferred
• Knowledge of FDCPA regulations is a plus
• Access to high-speed internet with a hard-wired connection
• Professional phone etiquette and solid negotiating skills
