Remote Contract Specialist

Job Summary

Overseeing a large volume contract portfolio, the full-time Remote Contract Specialist will draft and negotiate various research agreements, including clinical trial agreements, while serving as a liaison between university stakeholders and external entities.

Key responsibilities:

• Manages the review and negotiation of contracts for departments and schools, ensuring alignment with investigator needs
• Develops and negotiates clinical trial budgets to secure appropriate reimbursement for study-related costs
• Advises faculty and staff on contractual relationships and negotiates terms to protect university interests

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Juris Doctor or a combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
• Relevant experience in research administration or contract negotiation preferred (2 years)
• Five years of relevant work experience preferred
• No specific certifications or professional licenses required
