Remote Data Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A global technology solutions company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Data Operations Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Transferring data between environments such as external file transfer, internal databases, and file systems
• Administering managed file transfer applications
• Processing and analyzing data

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in each of the following: Developing applications with Python or similar languages
• Experience with loading data into an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or SQL server
• Automating data transfers using file transfer technologies such as SFTP
• Migrating from local server environments to AWS-based Cloud Architecture, including the movement of large amounts of data
• Supporting the Data Engineering team with a focus on AWS Cloud data intake automation
• Experience with data intake processes, database technologies, and other data services technologies in the AWS space
