Job Summary
A non-profit organization has an open position for a Remote Editorial Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with the Organizing Team to understand the political drivers of the day
- Working with the Marketing Team weekly to determine a quota of headlines and prompts needed per week for both gifs and memes
- Working with the Meme Team to generate ideas for memes based on Marketing and Organizing needs
Position Requirements Include:
- 4-6 years of experience in editorial including headline writing
- Understanding and passion for politics
- Ability to write in different tones
- Love of memes
- Ability to write comedy
- Ability to write for a visual medium
