Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Remote Elementary Math Teacher, who will teach math up to Pre-Algebra using a structured curriculum, lead virtual classes, and engage with students and parents while managing a total of 30-40 hours per week, including teaching and administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Teach math in an engaging, student-centered manner using provided curriculum and instructional guidance
- Lead virtual classes of approximately 18 students, fostering a positive learning environment
- Grade assignments, provide feedback, and communicate with students and parents regarding progress and learning plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Strong math foundation, comfortable with Pre-Algebra or above; Math, STEM-related, or Education majors preferred
- Availability during specified class windows, including at least one weekend day
- Passion for teaching and supporting student growth
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching is a plus
