Remote Epic Application Coordinator
Job Summary
To support the implementation and ongoing management of EPIC applications, the full-time Remote Epic Application Coordinator (HIM / Coding) will be responsible for the design, build, testing, and validation of the software, while maintaining communication with stakeholders and ensuring the system meets organizational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with vendor representatives and the organization's business community to ensure system alignment with business needs
- Assume application expertise by obtaining and maintaining Epic certification for assigned applications within the required timeframe
- Participate in project planning, design sessions, and system testing, while documenting configurations and troubleshooting issues
Required qualifications
- Associate Degree or higher education, or related applicable experience
- 5+ years of Healthcare IT experience
- Must complete required training for product implementation and pass certification within 45 days of training completion
- Epic HIM / Coding Analyst certification or previous Epic EMR build experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of operational workflows related to EPIC applications
