Remote Epic HIM/Coding Coordinator

Job Summary

To support the ongoing implementation of EPIC applications, the full-time Remote Epic HIM/Coding Coordinator will manage the design, build, configuration, testing, and validation of the EPIC system while ensuring alignment with operational workflows and user needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with vendor representatives and the organization's user community to ensure system alignment with business needs
• Achieve and maintain Epic certification (HIM/Coding) while gaining in-depth knowledge of assigned applications and their interrelations
• Participate in project planning, design sessions, and system testing, providing application expertise to facilitate effective decision-making

Required qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher education, or related applicable experience
• 5+ years of Healthcare IT experience
• Must complete required training for product implementation and pass certification within 45 days of training completion
• Strong understanding of organizational workflows and user community needs
• Ability to lead meetings and manage project plan activities effectively
