Remote ESL Teacher
Job Summary
Teaching English to adult professionals in engaging small group sessions, the part-time Remote ESL Teacher will utilize immersive technology to facilitate communicative lessons and help learners build confidence in real-world scenarios.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate structured English lessons focused on real-life communication scenarios
- Provide feedback on pronunciation, grammar, and fluency during 40-minute sessions
- Communicate proactively with the instructional team to enhance learner progress
Required qualifications
- BA in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a closely related field, or a Bachelor's degree with a 120-hour TESOL certificate/CELTA and extensive teaching experience
- 2+ years of structured ESL teaching experience, particularly with adult learners in group settings
- Strong foundation in communicative or task-based language teaching
- C1 English proficiency (CEFR) or Advanced High (ACTFL) equivalent or higher
- Comfortable using technology and learning new platforms
