Remote French Consecutive Interpreter

Job Summary

To facilitate effective communication, the experienced Remote French Consecutive Interpreter will provide interpretation services during phone calls and meetings, ensuring clarity and professionalism in a contracted role.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during various communication scenarios including phone calls and meetings
• Listen attentively to the source language and accurately convey messages in the target language
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adhere to HIPAA and company protocols throughout the interpretation process

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience or 3000 hours of active interpretation (preferred)
• Proficiency in at least two languages (source and target languages)
• Proof of English language proficiency with a "technical proficiency" rating or equivalent
• Completion of a Mock Call assessment with a passing score
• Technical infrastructure to support interpretation assignments, including a headset and stable internet connection
