Remote General Education Professor

Job Summary

To support the academic foundation of nursing careers, the remote General Education Assistant Professor will develop, teach, and evaluate general education courses while advising and mentoring students, with minimal in-person requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, administer, teach, and evaluate students in general education coursework
• Advise and mentor students throughout their coursework and monitor performance against objectives
• Complete annual professional development and provide timely feedback and support to students

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in the teaching domain from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• At least 18 credit hours of direct study in the discipline to be taught
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in higher education, preferably online
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, preferably online
