Remote Geospatial Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the JANUS Geography program, the temporary Remote Geospatial Analyst will collect, process, analyze, and maintain foundational geospatial data while working remotely on mission-critical Land and Ground Cover production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, edit, and maintain foundational geospatial datasets
- Produce and maintain GIS products using ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Pro, and ERDAS IMAGINE
- Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) to ensure product accuracy and consistency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant geospatial experience
- Previous experience supporting JANUS Geography Land and Ground Cover efforts
- Experience using ArcGIS 10.x and/or ArcGIS Pro with applicable extensions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Windows File Explorer
