Job Summary
To support young learners in developing foundational math skills, the part-time Remote Grades 1-4 Math Tutor will deliver personalized online lessons aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards while providing timely feedback and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4, aligned with the CCSS framework
- Prepare lesson content based on individual student needs, ensuring high-quality instruction
- Provide timely feedback and targeted guidance to support student understanding and improvement
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
