Remote Healthcare Controller

Job Summary

To support a physician-owned private practice, the full-time Remote Healthcare Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and coordinate physician partnership tax matters while working remotely within the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting, financial close processes, and prepare financial statements
• Coordinate with external CPA firms on partnership tax returns and maintain accurate records for physician entities
• Monitor cash balances, prepare cash flow forecasts, and coordinate retirement plan accounting and funding requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Significant progressive accounting experience, ideally in a Controller or similar role
• Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks and direct experience with partnership accounting and K-1 reporting
• Experience coordinating cash balance pension plans and managing financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
