Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Hospital Medical Record Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Assigning accurate ICD-10 codes for appropriate DRG assignment, as well as ICD-10 PCS codes
  • Managing field client account review requests and inquiries
  • Adhering to AHIMA’s Ethical Standards of Coding at all times

Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hospital coding experience
  • AHIMA or CPT Coding Certification (examples: CCS, CIC, COC)
  • Hospital coding experience and familiarity with all aspects of the medical record
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
