Job Summary

To support patient access to medications and treatments, the full-time Remote Insurance Verification Specialist will verify insurance coverage, conduct benefit investigations, and resolve eligibility discrepancies while working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for prescriptions and healthcare services
• Conduct benefit investigations to determine coverage details and out-of-pocket responsibilities
• Handle inbound and outbound communications with patients, providers, and insurance carriers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in insurance verification and benefits eligibility in a healthcare setting
• Strong understanding of health insurance verification and benefit investigations
• Experience communicating directly with insurance carriers to resolve benefit issues
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and applications simultaneously
• Dedicated home workspace with high-speed internet and a hardwired modem connection
