Remote Inventory and Accounts Receivable Accounting Senior Manager

Job Summary

A technology-driven beauty company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inventory and Accounts Receivable Accounting Senior Manager.

Must be able to:

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of the month-end and quarterly close process
• Prepare or review various analyses around inventory obsolescence, cost of goods sold/average unit cost, inventory turnover, etc
• Provide insights to Controller, SVP of Accounting, CFO, and other areas of the business related to inventory and AR trends

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• 8+ years experience in increasing accounting responsibilities
• 4+ years leading direct reports
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• Specific experience focused in inventory accounting using average costing or standard costing methods
• US SEC public company experience preferably in consumer packaged goods, retail or related industry with inventory
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
