Job Summary

A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Lead Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Taking ownership of software/firmware development for the entire hardware product portfolio
  • Working closely with product management to understand the product requirements and providing technical expertise
  • Creating software specifications, architectures, design artifacts, source code, unit tests

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or master's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience with the development of embedded software for high reliability applications
  • Previous experience leading and mentoring internal, external, and distributed teams
  • Experienced with formal software development practices, UML, Source Control, TDD, unit testing, etc
