Job Summary
A technology company has a current position open for a Remote Lead Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Taking ownership of software/firmware development for the entire hardware product portfolio
- Working closely with product management to understand the product requirements and providing technical expertise
- Creating software specifications, architectures, design artifacts, source code, unit tests
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or master's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience with the development of embedded software for high reliability applications
- Previous experience leading and mentoring internal, external, and distributed teams
- Experienced with formal software development practices, UML, Source Control, TDD, unit testing, etc
