Job Summary
To support remote legal depositions, the part-time hourly Remote Legal Guardian will prepare case materials, manage live proceedings, assist participants, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure timely delivery of accurate transcripts.
Key responsibilities
- Review case materials and research terminology ahead of depositions
- Host and manage remote legal proceedings via Zoom or similar platforms
- Monitor live depositions and ensure accurate transcription and certification of documents
Required qualifications
- Strong technical proficiency with video conferencing tools, particularly Zoom
- Experience in legal support, court reporting, or similar is a plus
- Ability to remain composed and professional in high-attention settings
- Comfortable working in an on-call, variable schedule environment
- Notary Public commission is a plus
