Remote Math Teacher
Job Summary
To support student growth in a structured environment, the full-time Remote Math Teacher will engage K-12 students in math through a high-quality curriculum, lead virtual classes, and participate in ongoing professional development while working 30-40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Teach school or competition math using provided curriculum and instructional guidance in a virtual classroom setting
- Lead classes of approximately 18 students, fostering a positive and high-expectation learning environment
- Grade assignments, provide feedback, and maintain professional communication with students and parents regarding progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Strong math foundation, preferably with a degree in Math, STEM, or Education
- Availability during specified class windows, including at least one weekend day
- Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or classroom teaching is preferred
- Background in math competitions (e.g., AMC, Math Kangaroo) is a plus
