Job Summary
To support the educational growth of young learners, the part-time Remote Math Tutor for Grades 1-4 will deliver personalized online math lessons aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards, focusing on student engagement and foundational skill development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one online math lessons for students in Grades 1-4, ensuring alignment with the CCSS framework
- Prepare lesson content tailored to individual student needs and provide timely feedback to support understanding
- Utilize interactive and student-centered teaching methods to promote engagement and strengthen core concept understanding
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Math, Education, or related fields
- Teaching experience or a valid teaching certificate is highly preferred
- Availability to work during weekday evenings and weekends (US time zones)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is preferred
