Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Remote Medical Billing Specialist will manage the accurate billing of claims, ensure timely filing deadlines are met, and collaborate with various departments to uphold compliance and payer guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Submit insurance claims timely according to payer guidelines and resolve claim errors collaboratively
• Maintain a general understanding of regulations affecting billing practices and report any compliance issues
• Perform all assigned duties in a professional and timely manner

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of non-clinical healthcare experience, preferably in revenue cycle
• Familiarity with compliance and payer policies
