Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Collector will work with insurance companies to resolve claims denials and non-payments, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation while operating in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work with insurance companies to determine the cause of claim denials or non-payments
• Initiate and submit necessary documentation to resolve issues and follow up until payment is received
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment focused on insurance billing and collections
• Advanced knowledge of healthcare insurance, including managed care and reimbursement methodologies
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Ability to work from a quiet, private workspace with high-speed internet access
