Job Summary

Detail-oriented and compassionate, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will verify insurance coverage for prescription medications, assist patients with benefits information, and conduct calls with various stakeholders while working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage for prescription medications and assist patients in obtaining necessary information
• Make inbound and outbound calls to patients, insurance companies, and other relevant parties
• Maintain accurate records and follow HIPAA regulations while meeting call center performance metrics

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance verification or benefits
• Knowledge of prior authorization and claims processes
• Ability to work in a quiet, secure home environment
• High-speed internet with hardwired modem access (no hotspots accepted)
• Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software and navigate multiple screens
