Detail-oriented and customer-focused, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will assist patients with obtaining coverage for prescription medications, manage inbound and outbound calls, and utilize call center software to update account information while working from home.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients in securing coverage for prescription medications through effective communication
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to patients, payors, and insurance companies
- Utilize call center software to perform account research and maintain accurate notes
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience
- Knowledge of prior authorization and claims processes, as well as HIPAA regulations
