Remote Medical Provider Coordinator

Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Provider Coordinator.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Scheduling and/or rescheduling patient appointments, procedures, diagnostic tests, surgeries, etc
• Entering all scheduling documentation in the electronic medical record
• Verifying insurance and obtaining prior authorizations as needed

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies
• Post secondary education in medical field preferred  
• 2 to 5 years  experience in a medical office
