Job Summary

assigning ICD-10-CM codes to documentation received from provider offices has a current position open for a Remote Medicare Medical Records Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Perform ICD-10-CM coding for reimbursement through documentation review
• Assign ICD-10-CM codes to documentation received from provider offices

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 1+ year of coding experience
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CMS coding principles and guidelines
• Familiarity with physician-specific regulations and polices related to documentation and coding
• Knowledgeable of Medicare Risk Adjustment
• CPC, CCS-P, CCS-H, RHIT, or RHIA or nursing medical background
