Job Summary
Coaching a portfolio of roughly ten pods, the part-time Remote Mentor for AI Fellows will provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and facilitate progress assessments for approximately 20 fellows across various host organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach and support fellows through their development, providing structured feedback on pull requests and other deliverables
- Deliver curriculum modules and co-lead practical assessments, ensuring alignment with the fellows' learning needs
- Identify and escalate technical issues, maintaining program integrity and effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience in coaching or mentoring, whether formal or informal
- Ability to provide specific and useful feedback on code reviews
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and a generalist coaching approach
- Strong written communication skills for asynchronous feedback
