Job Summary

A multinational technology firm that dominates the market for Linux has an open position for a Remote Middleware Solutions Architect in New York City.

Must be able to:

• Serve as a top technical expert and use your financial services background to present executive lT leadership with compelling business and technical cases
• Participate in and assist with defining account strategy with broader account teams
• Mentor fellow middleware solutions architects on best practices, field, and technical learnings

Qualifications for this position include:

• Willingness to travel frequently and when needed
• 5 years of experience working in a top-tier systems vendor, either in software engineering, sales engineering, or as a solutions architect
• Proven experience with financial services enterprise architecture including front, back, and mid-office applications, infrastructure, and middleware
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to present to small and large groups of mixed business, technical, management, and leadership audiences
