Remote Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
Experienced in Non-QM underwriting, the full-time Remote Wholesale Non-QM Underwriter will independently underwrite loans, analyze compliance with guidelines, and maintain quality standards while working remotely in a fast-paced TPO environment.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Non-QM loans from initial review through final decision
- Review income, assets, credit, collateral, conditions, and supporting documentation for compliance
- Issue detailed underwriting decisions and collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the process
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of recent Non-QM wholesale/TPO underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM underwriting principles
- Proficiency in using Encompass for loan file management
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
