Remote Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Remote Wholesale Non-QM Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite Non-QM loans from initial review to final decision, requiring strong recent underwriting experience and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Non-QM loans, reviewing income, assets, credit, collateral, and supporting documentation
- Analyze loan files for compliance with investor and program guidelines while issuing clear underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with underwriters, investors, and loan coordinators to maintain quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of recent Non-QM wholesale/TPO underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM underwriting processes
- Proficiency in using Encompass for loan file management
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
- Proven problem-solving skills to navigate complex scenarios
