Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Remote Non-QM Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite Non-QM loans from initial review to final decision while working remotely from anywhere in the U.S., excluding California.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite Non-QM loans, reviewing income, assets, credit, collateral, and supporting documentation
- Analyze loan files for compliance with investor and program guidelines, issuing clear underwriting decisions
- Collaborate with underwriters, investors, and brokers while maintaining production standards in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of recent Non-QM wholesale/TPO underwriting experience
- Strong knowledge of Non-QM underwriting principles
- Proficiency in using Encompass for loan file management
- Ability to work independently and underwrite loans without training
- Strong customer service and communication skills
