Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Remote Non-QM Underwriter, the full-time position will underwrite wholesale Non-QM loans, analyze complex financial documentation, and apply various investor guidelines while working remotely from the West Coast or Mountain West, Southwest areas of the US.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite wholesale Non-QM loans from initial review through final underwriting decision
- Analyze income, assets, credit, collateral, and supporting documentation to determine loan eligibility
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to resolve underwriting issues
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of direct wholesale/TPO Non-QM underwriting experience
- Current or recent employment with a wholesale mortgage lender
- Extensive experience underwriting against multiple third-party Non-QM investor matrices
- Direct underwriting experience across bank statement, 1099, asset utilization, P&L, VOE, and DSCR programs
- Proficiency with Encompass
