Job Summary

Supporting new patient admissions, the part-time hourly Intake Patient Care Representative will gather information, verify insurance coverage, and coordinate care steps while working remotely in a structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and enter accurate demographic and clinical information for new patient admissions
• Verify insurance coverage and follow up on authorizations as needed
• Communicate with patients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of intake requirements

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare intake, medical office administration, or insurance support
• Experience with insurance verification or authorizations preferred
• High school diploma or GED required
• Background in home health, DME, or medical office is a plus
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
