Remote Pharmacist - Prior Authorization

Job Summary

To support Commercial Specialty and Non-Specialty Pharmacy programs, the full-time Remote Pharmacist - Prior Authorization will conduct clinical reviews of prior authorization requests, verify coverage and eligibility, and communicate with healthcare providers and internal teams in a fully remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review prior authorization requests and render coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls with physicians, healthcare providers, and patients to address clinical questions and obtain additional information
• Collaborate with prior authorization technicians and team members to process referrals and provide clinical support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy / BS Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence/practice
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience required
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and make clinical determinations using established criteria
• Strong computer skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
