Job Summary
Providing comprehensive mental health care, the full-time Remote PMHNP will assess patients, diagnose psychiatric disorders, prescribe medications, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and diagnose mental health conditions for adolescent and adult patients
- Prescribe psychotropic medications and monitor patients' medication use and side effects
- Document patient histories and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and national standards
Required qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license (PMHNP)
- Experience in Addiction and Mental Health
- Comfort working with patients across the lifespan (ages 13+)
- Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment planning
